We had a '76 Toyota truck from around 1986 to 1991. We replaced the rusted-out rocker panels with steel square tubing to attach the body back to the frame, painted the body and wheels "refrigerator white", bent up some aluminum sheet for new floorboards, and had a blast with it. I drove it through most of college and it was a helluva lotta fun. I think my Dad used the clutch about 50% of the time he drove it. lol

I've got you all beat! I have 405,000 miles on my Tacoma. I drive 100 miles a day to work and back. NEVER had a mechanical failure. I've replaced the hoses ,fluids, belts and replaced a leaking radiator tank that was just bugging me. Other than that everything is original. Mechanic at the dealership said they tested the 4 cylinder to 400k without any problems.
Also had a 1988 Celica in college with 252000 on the original clutch. I will always have one as a daily driver.

We have a Land Cruiser for towing the wifes horses and winter driving. I'll put it up against anything any day. That V6 diesel is one tough s.o.b.

Heres my 82, great truck and was a lot of fun. I dont think this thing ever let me down always ran like a top. I scan ebay occasionally in hopes i might find another one but they are few and far between. Clean ones pull pretty good money when they to come across.
I had to take pics of the actual photos with my cell phone lol. no scanner at the office.

I had a Toyota truck that went 210,000 and still ran strong when I sold it. It was used in construction which means it got used. If my Ford F350 lasts half that and holds up anywhere near the Toy, I'll consider myself fortunate. To bad they don't make a 1 ton truck, I'd be the first in line.
Got a new F250 V10 and love it, 65k and flawless so far.

I like to think of it as a truck....but our 2004 RAV4 has 215K miles and looks and runs new. In all of those miles I have replaced wear items (tires, brakes) and fluids. No leaks, no oil burning, and gets almost the same mileage as day one.
One of the last RAV's to come direct from Japan too.
