Question Big Dog Motorcycles

I have been looking at these bikes latley. Does anyone own one? How do they ride? Are there better bikes for the money? I like the Chopper and I also like the new ridge back. If my wife decides to ride with me on a ridged will we get the hell beat out of us? Please help.

Thanks

i would look at American Ironhorse, maybe OCC, they were reasonable at one time, i don't know now, sense they got in TV land. The ridged is best in the flat lands like NV, AZ, in the city they will beat you up. the taller 230 rear tire helps. The Big Dog is a nice ride though.

The pit bull is a beautiful bike but it is a hard tail. The mastif looks OK but would be better with the pitbull rear fender and 250 tire. Also I do not like how the exhaust sticks so far out on the side, easy to burn your leg.

Here was one a poodle had in my garage for a month....

Isn't it called a Bad Dog? On the mirrors it said "A$$holes In Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear"

Big dogs are nice, but not really a true "custom"... as are the ironhorse, OCC, WCC, etc... I have been looking into a few of these as well... I have found some smaller manufactures are more willing to work with you on what exactly you want and still are NADA listed. I found 2 specifically here in Orlando one is exotix cycles in Oviedo FL and the other is Pitbull in Orlando.

Member BIGCAT had a pitbull on the stage in his club during bike week. Like i said, I am looking and want something that later I can resell, but still get exactly what I want. When I sell my boat(have 2) I am seriously looking at having pitbull build me a bike. The Pitbull is a NADA listed bike as is the big dog's, and a true custom where you can pick the stretch and rake, as well as thje handle bars, wheels, controls, paint, motor, etc, etc....
