23 Regal with 540ci & 620hp, should run in the upper 70's to mid 80's. The stock 330hp ran 60-65 all day long.

I have a 260 with a blown 540ci, aprox 1000hp. Radered at 111.2mph, 7000rpm with a 30p bravo prop

05 290 SC with 525. Ran low 80's with 27"PX5 hydro. I added A/C and the weight from that and the 2 batteries that run it have slowed me down to the upper 70's . Last week with 4 people and 1/2 tank of water and full tank of gas(for a short time only) boat ran 77 on the gps and did not bump the rev limiter. Topped out at around 5200 rpm.

99 280 502 with a whipple ran 83 and change on radar. 30p bravo . This year brings a blown 540. We'll see what the numbers come in at in the next couple of weeks.

My first time out learning the boat went 73 at 4800-5000 rpm.
Dinged up 26 4 blade B1 props and unknown HP. 454 w/some work done but I don't know what yet.
89 30 Velocity w/454s.

1999-260 310 hp 68mph bolted on a progernade and went 77 mph.
no2 1999 320 2x310 hp 70 something
no3 2000 390 hp 500s x2 84 mph 565s it ran 91 mph
no4 2005 390 full stg. 565hp x2 93mph
no5 2005 vr1 502 ci.425 hp inovation 81.7 all day.

1998 280 with 502 mag. Stock except for lightning headers and labbed 26 Hydromotive 4 blade, 73 mph on gps, 1 foot chop , 2 people 1/2 tank of gas.

Tom, Steve's getting ready to start a new project boat to race this year. We'll see how she does. If it's good,I'll have one built next year in a pleasure boat version.Then I'll start tearing up the river again.

I must be doing something wrong, I have a 2000 280 with a 502/415 and all I can get is 69MPH with half a tank of gas and a 2 foot chop!!!!! 26 pitch four blade.

My brother has a 280 with a 496/425 hp and runs 72 mph Call mike at halls prop. You have to run a hydro. done by him.

Thong, Lab the prop and Mike @ Halls is the best. You might look at headers to pick up a little more.

Look man, the wife has to sign off on that one. I'd take your boat in a second but you got to get the wifes ok first.

Pull her aside when we go to D-B's in FEB. If you can pull it off I'll be your ***** at the next Velocityfest.

2005- 260, 502 Tyler Crockett 565 hp, 83-84 gps @ 5500rpm full tank and 2 persons, 28 Bravo 1 labbed by BBlades.

Had a 509 SC's 250 with 650 H.P. I best saw 81.7 out of it with a hydro 28. Seem'd like the prop liked to blow out when the boat layed on plain still havent got a full answere why yet. But had a 589 built with a 10-71 intercooled with about a 1k horse numbers hope to be posted soon.

Mercury 575sci with 3.5 pulley, 85 gps 2 people full tank with more left. 28 pitch p5x box stock.

88' 30. 2/502s, Brodix BB-1s, Erson cams, 230/238-.600 lift. 28 Bravo 1s, RPM airgaps, 830 Holleys. 88.3 best gps, 86-87 any day. 85.4 overloaded.

5100-5400 rpm depending.

What do you think speed I should get from my 81 Velocity 30 with 19.5 inch X dimension. twin 502 efi with a little over 500hp a piece , Bravo XR drives 1.5 ratio
and what prop should I be looking at ?
