What other velocity owners are going to show, I will be flying down on Friday 15th, maybe make it to the show that day if not saturday and sunday for sure.

I plan to be at the Gleason Convention Center (Miami Beach) on the opening day, Thursday and at the Biscayne Bay docks on Friday. Sure like to meet anyone else present on those days!

Any one know what boats will be in the water this this year. Hopefully a 39'since there hasn't been one available for a test ride yet!

Me and the wife will be there Thursday to Sunday.I would like to bring my 390 over.But dont feal like dealing with the docking mess.

sounds good maybe some of us could meet at the velocity both or something. I will be going down with my Dad Staying at the marriot tuesday thru Saturday. Change from my earlier plans.

We will be there from the 15th to the 21st!! anyone else staying at the RIU Hotel? What else would be cool to see and do besides going to 188th St.? See ya there!

I'll be going to the OSO party Friday in South Beach. Anyone else going? Perhaps we can wear something "Velocity" to help hook up.

Yep I am going to try and be there, my first mate is staying home. So I might just drag my dad with me or something.
I always have to wear something velocity ;)
I think velocity is bringing their new race boat the 28'.

Who is planning to attend OSO party on Friday besides Velocity260? mmo jo, FunHome?

I'll be with the NJPPC contingency at the OSO party and the FPC party. I plan to be at the inside show Thursday (looks like rain) and at the docks Friday.

Maybe I will see some of you guys thursday at the show. I will have my, white velocity polo or one of my T-shirts see you guys at the show hopefully.

I missed the OSO party - Friday was the only good beach day out of the four I was in town.

It was good to meet mmo jo at the FPC party - that was an outstanding party which I should have stayed longer at!

Hopefully we can meet this summer at the Velocity Poker Run events.

I have thought about going to that would be fun. Be a good haul from upper michigan but would be fun. The only bad things is Summer is my busy time at work and I dont know if I want to put my boat into salt water. I suppose it wouldnt hurt for one weekend.

I wouldn't worry about the salt water what so ever! Worst case your boat would be in the water for about 30 hours and the salinity isn't that bad there. I would worry about the lengthy trip (although several people came up the coast from Florida last year!).

Everyone is very friendly so if you wanted to attend without your boat - I'm sure you could easily hook up a ride (quite a few people ran the event solo!).

The event will be held the last weekend in July according to Ken Temple.

I'm curious as well, been to the show many times but it was usually last minute plans, never had time to do anything as far as the after events. I know it's five and a half months away but while we're on the subject who's planning on going this Feb.? I am fishing in the pic,!!!!

Ten years ago the Miami show and parties were epic as was the whole offshore powerboating world! We all know that things have changed and the Miami show directly reflects the 2012 landscape. Although things are quite a bit smaller these days, I still look forward to attending as there's no better place to escape the mid-February winter.
