You shoulda seen that boat in the 6 foot plus waves in lake Michigan back in the 80's

A friend of ours (Marty Lynch) used to race that boat

He Passed away a couple of years ago

He got the snot beat out of him on the big water but still went out and ran it like it would never break

what a cool piece of old history

good luck

i have some pics of it back in the race days somewhere I will have to look hard

boatme,

if u have those old pictures please post them..i think the original color was white and called the JOKER, and it was also raced by Art Lilly as well...

Velocitychris good luck with your project...

century29 i haven't had the chance to get the true speeds of the boat, but when the speedo was working, we've had it in the mid 70s...i think down her in bermuda the bouyancy of the water is abit different, so boats seem to run abit faster..next time it goes out, hopefully i would remember my GPS....

my 22' 1987. I had to glue the deck to the hull, Regal did not bother to do it. Hull and deck were built strong. Great boat 64mph w/old yamaha.

one more shot. I glassed the transom area and put prisma stringers in the sides. Made some aluminum seat mounts front and rear so the back seat slides out for battery access.
