01 399, how fast with....

Whippled 496HO's? 650 hp each? What is a reasonable top speed for this hull? We are currently trying to decide what power to put in the boat.

Over 100. With 500's the boat will run in the upper 80's.

I didn't ask how fast it would be with whippled 496's. Or maybe I did and forgot.

My stag 390 ran 91 with 565 hp. Hot roded 500efis.
Its all in the set up.
