We put 5 blade hydros on Ben Pains 32 with 496 425s and it made all the dif. in the world! It ran in the 83mph range. The 5 blades took some of the hop out .

Engines out and stripped, just waiting for a deal on 2 tall deck blocks and interior work. I'll be in for May. 520's 800hp, 800lb/torque. Found the original owner and builder in NY he claims 96mph is a nice walk in the park, 104 once and didn't try again because of fear and common sence.

Damn Andy that's going to be a "Fear Factor" kinda Velocity when you get her done.

From what I rem. the 496 ho mag 425 hp ran faster at 4800 than on the rev.. So we ran a 29 ptch 5 blade hydro .by hulls. prop.

I just droped a 572 1071 blown in mine making aroun 930 hoping to hit 100 but we'll see.Im running a 34p labbed bravo 1 hopefully its enough prop
