Need some opinions

Found a 2002 Velocity 26' with 500efi. 203 hours, etc.

Are there any problems that I should be aware of with these boats? Love the way this thing looks and if all is well, it might be the one for me. Help me out guys, I am new to all of this.

The 500 is a good reliable motor and should push the 26 nicely. If you can get it right on price you will be happy.

The 500 in that boat is a great set up,the only thing I can say is have a survey done and if all checks out OK,go for it you will love it.Good luck.

Is that a 260 (24') or a 280 (26'). Between the 2 the 280 (26') is the better handling boat. I second the survey, make sure he has a moisture meter and does a complete hull survey.
