Engine is out 7/09
 

Got the engine out last night pullin the base to see why the oil pump staft broke. Im going to try to pull more power out of it after a full tear down and rebuild any suggestions or ideas would be cool. Ill post pics of it on statd and empty engine bay. The new drive is here Max Worx XR so that will be instaled also. SOme cool Paint work to come also

Hang in there Mike. Sorry to here about the problem. Glad you were watching the guages. You have to be tough to be a performance boat owner. Its' not for the meek. Look forward to hearing about the rebuild! Bob

Hang in there, our luck has got to change. I understand why so many just throw up their hands and give up & get out.

Many times through the years I have asked myself if it is worth all the trouble for a few extra miles per hour . To me it has always been ,though I don"t recomend it . Good luck on the rebuild . Be sure to double check the condition on your intercooler .I have heard of some problems with them leaking after just 2 or 3 years .Some mfg now offer a coopernickel ? type that is supposed to hold up better to the salt .Hope you will be back on the water and having fun soon .Best of luck :cool-smiley-011:

Damn Sick that sucks,I thought I was the only one with bad luck.

Every weekend its something breaking but hopefully after i go right threw it i wont have a proble. We will see. i undressed most of it last night platform comes off tonight and grab handles along with rest of engine. Then a few parts off to paint shope for more true fire as like on the scoop. Pics to come shortly.

i dont know but my dad has a little speed boat i can use but i hope it is cant wait for some new paint on the v-covers and grab handles.
