Does any1 have problems with fuel slosh in tank
 

Just wondeing if this happends to anyone else in some chop. I believe is the fuel sloshing around in the tank is why my pressure gauge drops over some chop. The pump is getting air instaed of fuel. How do i keep the fuel back in the line. Do i remove my current inlet lin and have a pipe fed to the bottome of the tank. I would figuer being a boat there would be a way that was compensated for that. Any i know must are going to say "not going fast enough to keep the fuel; in the rear." "Use the force of gravity and throttle to the wood". This is all well and good but runs out real quick at 6200 and 1050's. Anyway thanks guys even for at least reading

Have you looked into the size of the fuel pick up in the tank? Might not be large enough to support your engine, often the set up for a smaller single engine boat is marginal at best.

I had the same problem with my tank. didn't matter how mucch was in it. I took the sender outof the tank and found out that there was a small crack in the pipe that went down to the bottom of the tank. I called Steve and he sent me a new pick up and haven't had any problems sence hope thins helps.

I would think that fuel tanks in boats would have baffles in them to prevent this!

I though the same thing pac but im going to go with a larger pick up and see what happens. Stoltz i will look closer at the piping thanks.

I run a small surge (or slosh) tank in my Allison. It has about a 1/2-3/4 gallon capacity and is fed with a small Holley Red pump and my EFI pump feeds off the surge tank. That way the high pressure EFI pump has a constant feed of fuel from the surge tank.

Not sure if any of the big I/O guys have ever done a similar setup, especially in the race boats that are constantly bouncing around. ;)

im going to jump everything to full 1/2 and see what happens if it dosnt help. next step?
