30 regal questions
 

I have some questions on running a padded bottom 89 regal velocity. We just installed new gm 450 hp 502 crate engines. The boat is turniing 28 bravo 1 props. The boat runs 75 mph gps at 4900 with tab in. As soon as pull them out the boat chine walks bad. We are spinning propellers inward. Would it help to spin out? Any other ideas to help stop chining? Do the 30 velocitys need tab to settle down at high speeds?

I had an 88' 30' with 330's. Would turn 26 Hydromotives right at 5100 with very little tab, and spinning them out. No chine walk. From what I remember, I would run between 2 & 3 on the tab indicators and around 6 ish on the drives.

Not sure what your motors should turn, but that setup should run well into the 80's. ;)
