Need help finding a prop...
 

I have a 89 22' 250 efi merc o/b 12" jack plate and no nose cone.....Its proped all wrong..It has a 26 chopper that will not even plane off with more than one person in the boat(cavitation)...Its a heck of a top end prop, but I am looking for a good all around prop, it does not have to scream out of the hole but I want it to plane off with 5 people in the boat and run well on top end??? Anyone out there, been there and done that, advice would be greatly appreciated....

I had a 1985 22 with a 250 xs, I ran a bravo 1 4blade 28p with 6" of set back on a hydr, jack plate.
Boat would run 78-81 mph, it liked alot of trim and up on the jack plate.

Sale your 26 chopper,buy a bobs nose cone and a prop.
With a 28p prop full of fuel and 4people i had to brake the prop lose to get on plane.(with 2people it was great)
