If all you have are props in the water :eek: at high speed the bottom doesn't come into play. :evilb: That's a good'en, I think I'll use it more often. :offtopic:

I'm still learning here this will be my first boat, with that in mind, I assume bottom painted is just what it sounds like.
Stinger, thanks for the offer but I think i'm gonna stick to something with stock power as I just want to get the feel for the whole boating scene. |
the boat in the link is a 280 but it has a 1997 or back swim platform on it. not sure why, my boat is a 1996 and it is called a 26 althought it is the same thing as a 280 my brothers is a 1998 and it is called a 280 and his has the newer style platform on it

VV couldnt have said it better. DOnt worry about my offer as i said its not one that you jump into ive learned also only has 6 hours on it so i might as well get sometime out of it anyway.
