Seriously exploring options as well. Anyone ever compared the "balance" of a small black 260 vs. a big block 260??

I am also seriously considering a 280, but that would require me to take a huge loss on my motor!!!

Sorry for the Hi Jack!!

Also, what it the cabin storage like in a 260. I know what the 280's have!!

Don't let the fact that the boat does not have tabs and external steering keep you from buying it, if the deal is right. The 260 is an awsome boat, which once you push the limits, you will most likely want to add at least the tabs, just so that you can push it some more. But, I would add both over the winter...they are both easy projects. Probably the most fun Velocity I have owned.

Not trying to hijack this thread but I see you have a 322. How do you like it? How does it compare to the 320? What do you have in it?

Thanks,

*2007 260 Price, if shown, does not include government fees, taxes, dealer freight/preparation, dealer document preparation charges or any finance charges (if applicable). Final actual sales price will vary depending on options or accessories selected. Can you tell I'm bored?

Thanks,

I love the boat, but I cant compare it to the 320, since I have not driven one. I think that the handling is fantastic, particularly in rough water. It does need a bit tab at slow speeds (below 50), to keep from porpoise though. I have learned that more so this year, since my lake is now 45MPH. Anyone looking for a 322?

Sorry for the Hi Jack!!

The difference between a BBC and a SBC is about 150lbs. I doubt you could feel that in a 4000+lbs boat.
