What prop is standard on a 260 w/496 mag
As title states I was looking for any info on the "stock" prop on a 260 w/496 mag and bravo. I am tossing the Sportmaster that came on my 260 when I purchased and am putting a standard Bravo lower on. So I want to put the right prop on it. Thanx in advance!!!

my guess would be a 26 hydro 4 blade , velocity's don't like 3 blades the x is to high. MY 280 had a 365 mag 454 in it stock and it came with a 24 hydro 4 balde so with you boat being 2 ft smaller and more power i would think it would need a bigger prop

Right now I have a 26p Bravo 1 on the Sportmaster 1.26 Drive. So I guess I will give it a try first.
Right now with the 1.26 lower it will only get up to about 4500 RPM. I have a 1.5 Bravo lower on order.

I have my eye on a Hydromotive 27P 4 blade prop that has been "cupped to a 26p" Not sure what that really means.... But at the price I might give it a shot.

a hydro 27 might be a bit steep for your boat, even if it is cupped. i have a 27p hydro comin that i will be testing on my 260 with a 500efi as soon as my new xr gets in, i will update how that works out as soon as i know. i would try the 26p b1 that you have now and then go from there.
