What kind and weight of oil are you guys running in your 502 MAG's ??

I have a 390 with 2 500efis . I run nothing but mobil1 15/50.

280 with 502 mag - Mobil One 15 - 50.

Guess I'll have to change it. The guy I had do it put Castrol 20-50w . Is it the regular Mobile or the synthetic ?? Got to pull it out to put this new Bravo 28 prop on I got from Velocity anyway.

Mobil One is a synthetic.

Don't forgrt to let us know how the labbed 28 runs. We are all waiting <g>

I only have the 454 by my labbed bravo made a big difference so far been too cold for top speeds but acceleration has been great. No slippage at any speed so far.

Bundle up and go for the speed runs. In early spring and late fall I see 3 mph more in my 41.

As for oil, I have 509s run Redline Race Oil, straight 50 and change it every 20 hours. BTW I have 14 qt pans...ouch.
