We all had a great time at the Jacksonville River Rally, which was the first poker run for Mike, Kelly and my wife Tanya. Bill Pyburn Sr. generously offered us free entry into the run and not only came through with that, but picked us up across town at 1am when my truck broke down! Also like to thank Kevin Brady (sp) who got up early to help us launch the boat and get ready for the run.
Bill and his crew put on an awesome event that everyone should be so lucky to attend. Next year we'll have the kinks worked out and make it before Saturday morning!

Mike and Jordan,
Congrats of a job very well done! The restoration turned out fantastic and all associated with the project should be insanely proud!!! I wish you both many years of happiness with the boat and I look forward to seeing the story continue to progress. Again, congrats...

Wow, the comments from everyone really mean a lot. When we first got the boat back and started this it was a super personal thing, but after seeing the excitement from others when they found out what we were doing and then deciding to start this thread, it has really been awesome to be able to share the journey with so many people. There are so many negative things in society today - just turn on the news, so I think it's refreshing for people to see something positive for a change. Hopefully our story will inspire others to take on projects that mean the world to them, or at least make them smile for a few minutes. After all, it just takes dedication and hard work.....and sanding and sanding and sanding.....
