Red Warning Light??
 

The Red Warning light on the console came on and beeped twice while I was out yesterday. Its never happened before. The oil pressure and temp all looked OK. What all is the warning light for? It's a 2001 Velocity 280 502 EFI. Thnaks Chris:confused:

Check your drive oil bottle.If its a little low that will do it.

Yes!But where is the engine oil going?
 

That was it..I had checked it earlier and found it was low and added some fluid. No more Red Light !! Now if I can just figure where the heck all this engine oil is going. With 39 hours I shouldn't be adding a quart every 3 hours should I ? Although the guy up at the Fountain place says he uses a quart every 2 hours. But has thin rings. I'm not smoking and no water in the oil and no oil in the engine compartment.

Everyone told me to run Mobile One ...but the guy I had change before then put Castrol 15-50 so thats what I've been adding till I change it to Mobile one.

I had the same trouble.I switched to straight 40 weight.I used 1 qt every 20 hrs.And I run hard.
