Default 26 Thoroughbred refit

Alright guys after some coercing I am finally going to post up some pics of a new build. Long story short old engine crapped out after a fitting failure and slow reflexes. Decided to beef things up with Ronnie at RW Enterprises in East Fallowfield, Pa.
Almost done with this thing. It is a 572 cu in, Crower crank, Racetec pistons, Brodix BB2, Fast 2" 60 lbs fuel injection. Decided to beef up transom and will be bolting on BMAX replacing the previous XR. Also had to put on Hardin marine scoop and fabricating an entire polished aluminum diamond plate engine compartment. Pics Pending.............

captbones, Welcome, wondering when you were going to show off Ronnie's work. I've been doing it for quite sometime. Motor looks good. Should run strong. We will have to get together some time, if we can get Ronnie to come out........ Bob

Thanks Bob. We are looking for some good numbers from this thing. Hoping to have everything buttoned up in the next couple of weeks and on the water. We will definitely be catching up soon... I still can't compare to the beasts you are building. What a piece of work they are! Can't wait for them to tear the dyno down. Hahaha.

Thanks Mike. We are trying to get it finished up in the next week or so and off to the dyno.

Things are coming along... Try to finish up all the little projects in the next week or two. Motor going to dyno this week hopefully, Autometer gauges ordered, fabrication moving along as planned, hp gimbal assembly moving ahead. With any luck will be on the water before the end of June.

Got the engine all hooked up to the dyno. Just finishing up a couple of little things and adjustments getting ready to make some pulls on this thing. In the meantime finishing up some dash panels and putting in some new gauges. The boys up to R and W have been great and plenty more new ideas have been implemented and awaiting for some parts to finish this up in the next couple of weeks.

Boat hit the water tonight for some preliminary checks, engine ran great, no leaks on the new transom, and drive shifted smoothly. Looking for a short run Friday and over the weekend then try some wheels. Should be nice without all the traffic these days.
