Late 80's 30' Value?
 

I'm looking at a 30' today, believe its either an '87 or '88
Stock BBC power, owner thinks they're 330hp and in 2002 motors had 450hrs, time know is unknown.
Bravo's
10-12 years ago she got new interior in the cockpit not cabin. New Imron paint and a new triple axle trailer.
Boat has been in the water in at least 1 season, maybe 2.
Been in salt water twice its whole life.
Boat is stored outside but covered.
I know the info is limited, and I'm looking for rough estimates of value. Are these $10k rides at this level or $20k? Or higher?

Ok I'm really bummed. I'm not sure but it looks like the bottom is delaminating. There are cracks in the fiberglass on 5-6 place where its looks like the glass is starting to peel away. Need some more experienced eyes on this though. Boat is overall kinda rough. You'll have to look through the scum stuck on the bottom

Well I'll throw out some speculation. Based on the year it was more than likely built by Regal Boats, not a plus. 450hrs on the motors, they're going need rebuilt. If the Bravos are 87/88 they'll need looked at too. The bottom of the hull looks rough. Without pics it tough to say the value but I don't think its $20k. I looks like a project.

Wow, those pics don't do it much justice. $20k is high, depending on what's salvageable 10k is probably more realistic. I bought mine in late 2011, and it looked damn near new. Mine is a Regal, but i'm 99% sure it was laid up at Maelstrom, which from what I understand was a great thing. ;)

Mine is a 90, completely original, except for power which was done in 2001 with 502 MPI's. Looking back, I think I got a great deal.

Well it needs interior, the motors turned out to be 454 mags. Hour meter read 547 but hasn't worked in 10 years. They're actually the cleanest part of the boat. Oil was fairly clean too. Stringers in the engine compartment were solid. I couldn't get the bottom of the transom on the inside.

If the boat is an 87 or 88, it would definitly be a Regal built boat. The early Regal boats were still built under the watchful eye of Steve Stepp...I think quality issues is what led to the departure and separation between Regal and Stepp. The boats were still fast and the interiors were well laid out. It looks like the boat you're looking at may have sat in the water creating some of the gelcoat blisters. Some of the issues look like unrepaired bottom damage that will need to be dug into..
