Well the time had come... We simply had outgrown the 260. Hands down it was the best boat I have ever owned. It is looking like a Concept is in our future. I would love to stay in the Velocity family, however I need more space. I read Velocity is going to be producing a Center Console, however I don't think I can afford a new boat... Who knows.. If the right deal presents itself, I may find my self back in a Velocity. Our boat did sell to an owner fairly close by, so maybe I will get to visit her every once and a while.

You took the words out of my mouth. I sold my 280 on Saturday. Well the deals done I just have a couple things to button up. I feel exactly the same except I'll never leave the family even though I might not have a V. I'm planning on ordering a new 39 Velocity center console with 2 Seven Marine 557s.

I will definitely miss the sound of the Velocity (496 mag). Our new Concept is going to sound like a group of angry hornets...........
