There are 3 out there but they all are way over priced. The blue one in PA. the guy is NUTZ!! the one in TX is 10k to high and I dont want a stg boat like the on in Nj.

Just curious....why not a staggered.

Side by side is faster and the cockpit is a lot larger and we do a lot of boating to the beach with friends.

I learned someting. I always thought the stagger would be faster. Does the stagger ride better. If not why would anyone order a staggered set up?

A stagger does ride better but I can make a side by side get on top and run faster in rough water. You just have to have it set up right! Never run the tabs down past level at wide open and trim it to the moon and throttle it. That's how Steve taught me to drive. stagger works on ventilated bottom boats but on a pad the more weight forward the slower it will run. But still the closer the drives are together the faster it is . look at that yellow 41 with the 525s the engines are slammed together as close as they can be.

I know you had the one in MD before, but why not buy it reasonable and redo it to exactly what ya want? Paint, motors and interior and you could still be under a 100.

To heavy they layed that boat up thick because it had big power in it with no 5s. And it has the original flat deck before Steve put a little bit of a ark in it deck for flexing. To gut it and start over its still a 99 worth 55k. with 525s.

What should your old boat run with 525's, 80-85? I'm thinking about moving up a size but unsure of how much power is needed to have fun with that hull.

With 500 efi,s it ran 86 mph with the hot rod 500s making 565 hp it ran 91 mph. I had 50-60 hr in just working on the bottom of that boat. When John bought it he ran it at the Ozarks shoot out and I think it still hold a record in its class with the 496's. I think it ran 79 mph.
I think that boat hold the record for most poker runs ran in one boat.
With the 496s it just doesnt have the ass to stay on top in big water.
