It's run 85. I'm still tweaking a couple different sets of props with Cutting Edge, though, as I've been on the limiters.

Sweet boat..............

I had some success with a set of labbed 30P Bravo props today. They're pitched to about 32. I kept hitting the rev limiters all summer despite multiple adjustments. Now that the season is winding down, I decided to go back to Bblades. They did a nice job. I was able to trim out to where I wanted and saw 85.2 @ 5350. The biggest improvement was in the midrange, though. They dropped from 3750 to 3550 @ a 50 MPH cruise. Very happy with that!

Should run close to 90 depends on where steve put the x. My 390 was the 1 st staged one built ran 91 . The one with the crazy paint that just sold ran 92 . I ran it at a Sarasota poker run.

The flame boat? The last I saw it ran 84 and had the same setup and props that came on mine. Keep in mind this is not in salt water at sea level. I also have mufflers.

I ran the boat with step at the Sarasota poker run when it was brand new out of the box. 5 blade hydros done buy hulls I think they where 32s loosend up. My 390 was real light 500 efi making 565 hp 630 torque. Never got to fully dial it in. Got hit buy huricane charly and sold it to save my business . That flame boat had 6 blade herings on it before Tim in Nj bought it.

Yes, my boat also had 6-blade Herings and ran about the same speed. But, planing was terrible and dock handling even worse. After lowering the drives, it handles and planes like it should and I picked up a little speed. The only thing I'm curious about is whether any of these staggered boats had stand-off boxes. Unfortunately, I couldn't fit the boat in my shop with boxes.

No it throughs everything off . I just talked to Stepp we had custom 5 blade hydros from Mike at hulls 91 mph full of fuel on Sarasota bay.
