Talk to me about a 390 poker run
My first post and all , I missed out on a 320 that sold before I could get the loan details hammered out, Im definitely still leaning velocity.
This particular boat is a 1999 390 poker run, twin 496ho, bravo ones, low hours, no frills boat. seller claims low 70s Engines/drives are not original was re rigged late 2000s with smaller power The only thing inside cabin is a porto potty to the right and a cabinet to the left. No water, no sink no frills at all, just 2 couches and a bed cushion. Im thinking this is is lighter than the 8k lbs listed on the net because it is so stripped down. this is good for me less fuel burned more speed. I intend to use as a dayboat What does something like this go for with basically no options .... great shape, nice interior, gelcoat, graphics nada says 48k with 1999 aluminum beam trailer. I never anticipated buying a 39 foot boat but velocities are hard to find locally. |
Does the boat have orange, yellow and blue graphics? I know of only one 390 Poker Run edition with 496's and that's Velocity Toms old boat. Tom can fill you in and as recall that boat had a heavier lay up to accommodate big power. Still it should run in the mid 70's and do so very comfortably. 390 pricing is all over the place and set by market conditions (ignore NADA) but I would expect the black Mercruiser power should be about $10K less than the usual blue Merc Racing for the same year.

TacSac,
I have a 2003 320 located in FL and have been thinking of moving up in size. If interested I'll get you info as it has not been listed but very low hr power, new cockpit last summer, and runs upper 80's. 390's are nice rides! Rick |
Pm me your info/price, would like to know what drives/motors/hours etc.. Im interested in a 320 or 390

Will PM you more info and price- 2003 Hull that was re-powered in 2010 with a pair of 92 vintage HP465's/Bravo 1's. More than you want it to... unless it's a steal of a deal purchase. Get in touch with Kenny at Lets Talk Boats and he'll know what it's going to take.
