Yup they are selling the company assets piece by piece. Other tooling and assets were auctioned off a few months ago.

Such a shame imo.... if someone wanted to build a 4 boat line... the 22 OB, 290SC & VRI, and the 390 I think they would be well received in today's market.....

But the cost to do a start up is way to expensive and there is no profit by the end of the day. And I doubt one would sell anything over 10 boats per year for V hulls with I/Os. Not going to happen period in today market. Maybe Nordic selling V hulls but I think its more deck boats with outboards than anything. This is the largest performance website in the world - how many up here have bought a brand new boat in 2017 no matter of brand name ? I bet it is not even 10. Just saying. Sorry to sound so negative here but it is what it is. V hull - I/O sales are almost dead for builders.

I was thinking an existing company could buy the molds & add to their current line... as for how many new boats have been sold you are talking about on niche in the market... I'd say look at how many used boats are currently for sale and ask why so few good, low hour used boats? because no one has been building them for the past 5-7 years and the used performance boat market seems to have pretty much dried up... which means what? if someone wants a performance boat they may have to buy new.... recent years have seen an upsurge in CC purchases....something different.... I predict eventually a large demand for entry level, reasonable priced single engine I/O performance boats.... the 22 as an OB and the 29 as a single engine IO would make great entry level performance boats.... imo...just say'n

There still a lot of people who like a cabin. I know there are quite a few cats with some room in them but not many. Yeah fast and efficient but Being able to sleep in the boat overnight is important to a lot of folks. Dam a 35ft boat that you just sit in isn't appealing to everyone who is about to dump a bunch of cash. Plus cats are more expensive

prob would have to convert to all Outboards especially in the saltwater areas. Heck even Sea Ray, Four Winns and so on for old man cruiser cabin boats have gone to outboards now instead of inboards..

Still can not like the looks of this nor is it any good for the back end of the boat offering anything to do with play time. And look at the price of it. Wonder the speed of this boat ?

new buyers don't care about cabins. Only 2nd and 3rd owners.

🤔 beg to differ. Yes most people are day boaters. I'm one of them. Every year e rent slip somewhere under covered dock for at least week and use the boat for home base. Lawn chairs lots of people . No one has open bow or cat in these places.
