Re: Congrats to Team Velocity Factory 1
How fast? Which engine (Merc 525, Vortec HP3?) and prop manufacturer and pitch? I'd like to duplicate on my VR1.

I saw Bob and Steve at the factory on Monday... the official speed was 86 point something, but they said the GPS was showing 88 plus. Also, they had to add 200 extra pounds of weight at the last minute due to a discrepancy with the scales. They're running a HP525 and a 29 Hydro.
I guess I should change the sticker on my boat now! |
Re: Congrats to Team Velocity Factory 1
Thanks! I believe that's almost 5 mph faster than the Kilo record set in Savannah.

Re: Congrats to Team Velocity Factory 1
Previous record was set in Savannah on July of 2002 was 83.95.
Bob said that if they had more time to test with the additional weight the speeds would have been a little faster!! |
