Any tips for selling my Velocity 26 ?
 

I've been advertising my 1995 26' (280) for a few weeks now on OSO & only got 2 inquiries so far.
I need some honest opinions. Am I asking too much? Does my ad need work?
I kind of feel like I'm giving it away at 35K. I know the market is soft right now but I figured I'd at least have someone want to check it out.
Any ideas?

Just took a look at your ad. Nice boat I can't believe no one has jumped on it for that price. Call Kenny at the factory maybe he can help you move it. Good luck.

Sounds like a great price, how many hours on the motor? What prop is on it & whats the top speed (GPS)? I have the same boat & love it. Thanks!

The motor & hull have 148 hrs on 'em. I'm running a 26 pitch Bravo I right now and the best I've seen is 65.8 GPS. It seems to be a little over propped for the 454 Mag (350 hp) as I only turn around 4400 RPM at WOT.

You might want to try Randy Sweers at www.fastboats.com . I have seen a lot of boats listed on his site that are located New Jersey and New York area. His location is in Ft. Lauderdale, so it looks as he has many customers\contacts along the eastcoast. He might be able to help with some leads. Never know. Sounds like a good price for a nice boat.
