Nice seeing everyone this weekend! We had a great time despite the choppy conditions offshore. My wife is definently sore today and I have even more respect for my boat!

No pics.... the wife was too busy trying to stay inside the boat!!! I am sure that John and Melody's boat was a much better picture platform.

As always, it was great to see all of our Velocity friends. We really enjoyed the weekend. Glad to see all of you. Okay, now CA can break loose with some of that money and buy Shannon a bigger boat to ease the pain. She was a good sport though. That 29 can teach some of the bigger boats some lessons. See all of you soon.

It was great to see you again James. Enjoyed the company.
Hope to see you again soon. I talked with Kenny tonight and we will are planning to come to the New York Poker Run with him and possibly Tim. I am sure we will have a good time.
I will practice for the overnighters that I am sure we will pull.
Between you and Kenny, I am sure I will get a work out.

Thanks for making the 2005 Tampa Bay Velocity Fun Run a success! I hope you enjoyed yourself and please let me know what you thought of the event – what you liked and also where it can be improved. For next year we’ll be definitely returning to the Holiday Inn Marina as most people were quite pleased with the facilities. Since most of us did a little “exploring” during the run on Saturday! – we’ll use that experience to our advantage and most likely visit the same places although the sequence and course length may change based on your feedback. Similarly, let me know your thoughts on what month (March, April or May) you’d like for 2006.

Look for pictures and a brief story to appear on the Velocity website in the next week or so.

Lastly, I received a lot of credit for organizing the event but without help from Cheryl, Libby and Clay and of course from Steve and Kim – it probably wouldn’t have happened at all!

Hope to see you all in Jacksonville!
