I'm looking for a 7000-12000 btu ac for my boat.

Where are you located? What brand of boat is it going in ? Does it need to be a compact model ? Alot of questions to get what you really need.

33' donzi. compact A.C. would be nice. I have seen some in the 17"x13"x12" sizes this would work great. I live in Corpus Christi Texas. I would like to power it with a 3000is Honda generator.

Get a 7000 BTU unit for that boat and you then can use a Honda 2000

Yes there are several small units like Mermaid makes a nice 7000 that is a reverse cycle heat unit.

Or you could use one of those Krusin Kool units by Aqua-Cal. Its a 7,000 Btu unit, runs on 110V, packaged in a Samsonite suitcase, roll on, roll off, uses a hose set with a pump that you drop overboard.
