Big CUbe blower motor shortblock
Looking for a big cubic inch short block. 540-999. Has to be for a blower motor. This maybe cheaper then getting a set of one off pistons for my motor. It was a 572 supposidly so something around there preferably. Looking to make 1k h.p. Thanks

-Mike Mike, How's the drive holding up? Is this for the new motor yhou just had built? I have a 540 long block that I am looking to part with. Merlin block, J & E Blower pistons, rings and bearings Scorpion Roller Rocker Arms Lunati Custom Grind Cam (I was undecided during the build and also bought a Lunati Cam for running the motor w/o a blower, you get both). Scat H Beam Rods ARP Rod Bolts Merlin Aluminum Heads Ported ( have flow sheets) Mellings High Volume Oil Pump Other misc. thing done are lifters, 5 angle valve job, magnaflux and micro polish crank, timing chain, new chromevalve covers. If your interested I can get you more info. built for a 1k hp blower application. Tarek |

Blower motor
Mike,
If this interests you, send me a PM.. It can do 1k HP with no problem.. Currently has a single plane Merlin carb intake on it, but if you wanted to put another intake manifold, it would be very easy... I also have a new set of Fel Pro Marine Head gaskets in a box, that I will throw in if you buy it.. I'm not in a hury to sell it as it's an extra motor in the garage. For the right offer, it can go. Like I said, I have a couple more spares...
