NO ,,dominator is to big !!!

I would call Gaffrig they have them for a good deal and the best SS Flame arestors u can find.

Throttle Fever 03-20-2009 08:13 PM

They are pretty proud of them too. I agree the are the best. Was hoping someone had a set laying around. Might go to K&N's...

DareDevil 03-21-2009 12:31 AM

K&N will make your engine puke !!!!

they will cloog up faster the u can clean them.
Call Gafrig and tell mike That daredevil send u ,,he will give u a deal u cant miss out !

A buddy of mine had K&N's after i told him to change to Gaffrig he picked up 200 RPM on each motor !!!! There is NO dust on water,,so why would sombody use a "filter",,its just a flamearestor to prevent from backfire burning the engine !!! And keep birds out.LOL

You sure your not on commission... Ran the K&N's on the last boat, you are rite they do clog up fast. Which is way I would run them again. Why let all the junk that clogged the K&N go into the engine via a standard mesh flame arrestor? There is debris in the air and in a engine compartment, belt dust. Granted not as much as on land and wear might not be as great a issue. I appreciate the input. Guess I should have put this in another forum LOL..

Did u ever try to breath thru a cloged up resperator ??????

Can't be good ,,i rather breath air with debree as big as dust then not at all !!!

The engines need airflow more then clean nothing !!

And i am not on comission ,but he is a friend and my sponsor for the raceboat.

Sorry if u got that wrong,,,everything cool here !!!! But realy ,,think about what your NOT giving your motor instead of what u don't like to give your motor !!!

Beltwear or stuff like that will actually go out the exhaustvalve faster then it got in,,,hell i sen little locknuts go thru there without damaging something and LOL you are worried about polution in the air and belt dust !!!!????
Just call him and let him know i send u and ask for a deal ,,,if not happy buy K&N but atleast give it a shot and u will be amazed !!
