Trim tabs
 

Hope someone can help me, looking to put bigger tabs on my 25 outlaw, I think the factory ones are a joke, however, I would like to use the everything I have and just add bigger tabs, I've checked insta trims web site and they have bigger tabs that will replace my current ones but I dont get there pricing, if someone has a set of ( 12x16 heavy duty ) for sale I would be interested, or how I can buy just the tabs...

I have Bennett 12x12 sport tabs and like u wanted 12x16 and didnt lke the pricing. So i cut 2 pieces. Of 3/8" alum. And bolted them to the bottom. Mine works. Great but u habe to make sure the leading edge does mot go below the bottom plain of your boat. I think in your case you can bolt them to the top of yor plates amd use longer. Bolts to mount your cylinders

Don't think k planes will hook up to my existing, you selling the whole set up or just the tabs?

Thanks for the input hammer, just don't think that's something I would want to tackle, I have heard that works pretty good, just don't like the look of it!

No problem most around here like it especially when u price out 280 kplaines

I think after pricing these tabs it might be the way to go, can't believe what they are asking for on those! I can buy a complete set of bennets/lenco for that much!

Yep thats why i went that route

Long term k-planes would be your best bet. They really help out on a smaller boat like the 25.

Having not had them, and now having them, they are worth their weight in gold.

Just keep a look out in the swap shop and you can find decent prices. I have about $750 total in mine, for the planes and the pumps. I think I paid $450 for the k-planes and two pumps, one was ok, one was broken (parts) and $300 for another set of pumps.
