Gen IV 454 Mag long block or complete
 

I thought I just had some compression issues so I sent the heads are out to the machine shop. On closer examination the cylinder walls on at least one cylinder are pitted bad from what looks like water sitting in there from a leaking manifold/riser. So - looking to see if someone has a motor siting around. Thanks.

Well had one promising lead but it turned out to be a 330 hp 454. I need the Gen IV Mag. Anyone else??

I can wrench but never really went that deep into a motor (install pistons, rings, cam, crank, etc.) so I do not think this is the time to start. Because of that I am looking for a good short block or preferably a long block. Thanks for the posts - keep em coming!!

I've got two complete drop in 454 Mags 1989 models with under 200 hours on them. $3,500 each plus shipping.

Could you please email a photo or two to [email protected]. Could you include some info on the motors like compression numbers and info like have they been rebuilt - are they standard bore, etc. thanks!
