Call Phil, he's got a good option that's reasonably priced too, that's what I'm doing |

He can get a aftermarket version of the plates, I forget who makes them but they are reasonably priced and the same exact things as the Merc/K-planes just don't have the "M" or the "K" on them.
I would have preferred the OEM ones but I couldn't find any and Phil's already put these on a couple other Cig's, so if they're good enough for Phil they're good enough for me! |
your actually going to put some on without the (k)?????????
I can't believe you'd put non oem parts!!!!! j/k I know how adamant you were about getting the correct ones lol |
Haha, yeah I know, it's really tweaking me to the point I might draw a "K" on them :)
|
How much from Phil and what's his number
|
Don't remember price, give him a call 305-933-9988

The aftermarket plates are not a exact replacement. They work good on the older style K-planes with just some spacers/washers needed. On the newer style K-planes they need a lot of grinding in the hinge area.
