Dry tails for bravo setup
Looking for 1 set of dry tails for a bravo setup that will fit my gil manifolds.
Thanks |
Good luck ive been lookin for 9 months
|
I noticed that. Hoping maybe there's someone with one set...
I have a setup for trs that I may cut up to make work. |
I have 1 set of long gil pipes that i may be willing to get rid of. They are thru transom and dry but can be open quite easily
|
I have looked forever for 2 used sets. Going to bite the bullet and have custom dry tails made using my flanges...

Hey Guys, There are a few of us on here that have pipes that would work. All "dry" pipes are custom made. Most have a mist of water coming from the end and others, like the ones I use on my Phantom are dry, welded at the end but with a expansion hose/joint inside the transom. My point here is all of these pipes are most likely going to work they just need to be cut and modified to fit your needs.
Its simply enough to take them down to the local metal shop and have them cut with their band saw then weld back on what you need. It does take a little thought. In the last few years I have bought new dry s form Harden @ 3400$ for a trs boat. Then turned around had those same pipes cut and welded for my bravo Phantom . I also have a set of 4 (big gun) wet that I was saving for a set of big pipes for the Phantom but can't bare to cut to transom hole bigger. So I'm selling those for 1000. I paid 700 a piece from stellings. They fit the gil flange. |
Moved my water bungholes further inside this yr & had ends capped.
$90 labor. |
I have a set of dry tails that are Gills. Let the bitting begin.

They are at least 5 years old, but in good shape.
