I believe the 250 and 420 are interchangeable and a 420 was on top of this one.

I have a std deck one laying someplace. The 177's and 250's are interchangable, I'm not sure if the 420's will work on the same intake. This one is polished but will need re-polishing and some repairs have been made to fill in some minor corrosion at the intake gasket water ports. Marine epoxy was used, this is a common fix. Also as far as I know they only had one port configuration for the intakes not oval or rect. specific. Make me an offer!

I was out to the shop today and the 250 and 420 are interchangeable. The manifold has 2 different bolt patterns for them.
This manifold is O'ringed. My polished intake accommodates both. I set my 250 blower on to confirm. The manifold would need to be redrilled for the 250 cause they were filled in when Jim ran the 420. No big deal I'm sure Jim would do that. I don't know if the 177 is the same. It has 2 ports under the blower and the 250/420 has 3 ports. Also they take the same base gasket.
