Any 2.3 Whipples out there

682-- you need to be looking for 3.3 Whipples. 2.3 is borderline for that motor. And the 3.3 ones sit nice and low in the middle versus the 2.3 hanging off the side. Go with the 3.3 and you can run more boost if needed later and not heat it up as much.

10-4 That is good advice. These motors have been upgrades. Aluminum heads, larger throttle body, cam upgrade and Mark Boos did the computers. Making 585hp and 600ft tq

smitty,whipple also made a 2.3 for a carb that mounts like a normal unit on a innercooled manifold.

Whipple made at least 3 different 2.3 kits for the 500 efi, the one that hangs off the side used stock plenum and the other versions did not...I have two boats with 500 efi's running 2.3's and they have been flawless.
