WTB 496 complete
 

Looking for a running, complete, stock 496 Mag HO including harnesses. Will consider a good rebuildable unit with all externals included. If you have a Bravo 3 along with it, all the better. Please no hot rod, trash or junk. Will pay for crating and shipping to (415), No Cal. Not in a particular hurry, want to see whats available, have cash for right deal. I have a 496 that I am rebuilding right now it has all forged internal parts it is compleat drop in and run $6500 plus shipping

I don't believe the two of you are talking about the same engine. OP is looking for a Gen 7, 8.1L Mercruiser engine and dennis r sounds like he has a Gen ?, 454 block that has been bored/stroked to a 496.

Hi, I am not sure if you replied to me a few days ago or not, but
I do have a stock and complete 496 ho mag . It is in excellent condition with about 150 hours on it. I have the Bravo drive with it and could sell just the motor if you like
This motor is perfect with no stories,and a fresh water set up from Virginia, I am in Florida, my number is 954 294 2228
