XR Tower
 

Does any one have a junk XR upper with a good steel tower they would like so sell? If you do let me know, I need one.

I think Mr Gadgets has one he has made that is taller than stock.

I shot him an e-mail but haven't heard back, I believe he may be on vacation now. I guess I'll try the old fashioned way and give him a call.

I found one- I'll let you know if I get any other responses.

I don't know what the steel tower is that you speak of but I have an XR that broke the upper drive shaft (the short one). It also has a Sportmaster lower. I ended up replacing the whole drive with a used one so I don't know what I'm going to do with the broke one.
