WTB Arneson ASD 8-6 or 8-10
 
Looking for a set of ASD 8-6 or 8-10 drives. Must be either 19 or 26 spine shaft.

Arneson drives
 
I have 2- Arneson ASD 8-10. Drives for sale 51" long . Straight models , 1/1 ratio. Comes with Rolla props , drive shafts , oil tanks , steering helm , Mercury Shifters , transom wedges , air intakes , all 4 rams and tiebar. Everything for $16,500. 727-243-2219

Fasthawk- Thanks for the post but after talking to the designer of my hull, he said do not run Arnesons. That and I also bought a newer Scarab this past week, so the 38 project will be ending soon.

Just an FYI though, Straight ASD-8's are not ASD8-10's. The -6, -10, -16 is the drop box measurement. Yours don't have a drop box.

We’ve got customers with your same boats and they work great. Find it hard to believe Larry said not to use the Arneson’s. Must have been wine 30.

Mine has a notch in the transom, that is why. If it was a standard transom, then it would most likely work.

Are you a side by side or a stagger?

Even with a stagger, only the area where our standoff boxes mount would need an inch or two filled in rather than the entire notch.
