Different boat. I think the 27ZX was also known as the 26ZX. The ZR is the sportier more lean styling introduced as an entry level smaller version of the 35ZR. Apparently, the ZR has the edge performance wise but loses out slightly on cabin space. There's not much headroom, even seated.

Do a search for images on google, the ZX series are a bigger bulkier style of boat. I've heard good reports about them too but the newer ZR's are supposed to be better on the water and IMO, look much cooler!
