Looking for a 502 Long Block-TX
Like the title says I'm trying to find a good 502 Long Block in Texas or Close by Preferably.
It's replacing a 99 PCM 502 (standard rotation) |
Oops. I should have noticed there was a wanted section. My bad.
|
Check out TCM Engine Supply in Austin. They sell both brand new and remanufactured long blocks. Everything comes with 3 year warranty too. I'm looking at ordering 2 SBC long blocks from them this winter.
|
I have a spare 525 longblock with Mercury aluminum heads and a 502 Mercury MPI longblock with steel heads. |

Let me know how you make out. Talked to the owner several months back to get an idea on pricing. Very reasonable I thought, only a couple hundred dollar difference between new vs reman and I prefer new anyway. A little more than some others out there but only place I saw offering longer than 1 year warranty on parts and labor. Making that kind of investment like to know I have some coverage if needed.

90viper I sent you a pm also if the OP is not interested,
|
Still waiting to here back on PMs...
And thanks to whomever moved this to the wanted section. |
Sorry guys traveling. The spare 525 longblock I had for my Donzi paid $5400. Like to get my money out of it. I do not remember on the 502 mpi. I will be back at the office today. Both rebuilt and sitting in climate controlled garage for 4 years. |
10-4,
I'd say I'm probably most interested in the 502 so keep me posted. Trey |
Still looking. |

I’ll have it in House this weekend. I’ll split shipping in it. compete long block, headed block crank rods Pistons cam basepan lifters push rods ect. |
PM sent. Sorry for the delay. Work keeps messing up my play time.

F-2 Speedy. I will be headed to Table Rock in a few weeks. Can bring with me if interested. Due to my delay I need to give op time to respond. Includes pan and black valve covers. Does not have balancer or flywheel since a spare motor but sure I can come up with one.

Rebuilt standard with new rings bearings by shop that does all my work over the last 18 years. Valves are not adjusted. Valve job, springs and valves checked with new lifters. Some say valves should be changed but I have never had a valve failure. Have had one Lifter failure and one bearing failure in the last 18 years. Never found out issue on bearing failure. Twin engine boat only that one idk!!

Like the 502 MPI it has been in climate control storage for around 4 years

Includes pan and black valve covers. The one Mercury uses when you buy a replacement long block. Does not have balancer or flywheel since a spare motor but sure I can come up with one. No intake but have one new and one used I would consider selling.
