WTB Mercury ECM 555
 

Looking for a good used or remanufactured Mercury sterndrive ECM 555 for 2009 SeaRay 377/6.2 or an size engine, can have it reprogrammed.

If you would like to do - get ahold of me cause most likely I can repair it. Average cost is 550 to 750 depending on internal issues. Plus after finding out what is wrong with it internally - I can lead you into what might have caused the ecm failure - one with that info you make sure the failure does not happen again and or repair(s) needed on the engine .sode systems still lingering that would need to be address.

A brand new ECM 555 is 2k so the repair is a third of the cost.

Sounds good, my issue with the ECM is boat next to mine on the dock was struck by lighting which caused a few near by boats to have same issue as myself. When I get boat back home I'll message you, Thanks..

Thanks It surely would need to be opened up and check / tested for what has occurred from the lightning strike. Some ECMs / PCMs can not be brought back to life. Ones that have been in a fire and or melted most of them NO also ones that a huge voltage spike(s) knocked out many internal components for jist and about 50 / 50 can only be repaired from lightning strikes.<br /><br />The issue of not knowing how bad the internal components got damage is the reason for the 50 / 50 ??? on those repairs, Still all has to be opened up / checked and tested and go from there to determine the outcome. This year so far I am 100 percent for bringing back to life all what has been sent in to me.<br /><br />Worth a look 4 sure because of the cost involved compared to a new ECM and or a used ECM and reprogramming. Like I said a third of the cost, is the average in cost savings. THANKS
