Peanut port heads
Looking a set of peanut port 330hp 7.4L Gen Vl heads.
Thanks Bryan |
The gen VI heads were not peanut port, they are large oval voretec heads. I have a pair of the gen VI vortecs in Omaha Nebraska

If your looking for peanut port I could be wrong but I believe they are from a gen IV (gen 4) if that’s the case I believe I have what your looking for |
Eng # 0F820185 .. These gen vi are in a big 43 Maxum inboard. I guess mercruiser put small port heads on for low rpm TQ. Thanks |
What’s head casting. Should have s set here |
That number is for a 310HP gev VI MPI engine. Those are not peanut port heads, people often mistake them for them but they are L29 vortec heads which is a much better head. Those are what I have, they are off of a truck engine but they are identical to the mercruiser heads, Mercruiser used truck long blocks for the 310HP, I know this particular engine well.

Looks like a carb 7.4 330 hp. Cast iron intake , Weber carb, and the heads are # 10114156. Roller cam motor, cast valve covers. I will take a pic tomorrow. Intake ports are like a circle. |
