Have seen that one, was watching it, if I found a mefi 3 harness to go with for a good price.

Only $400 to reprogram my MEFI 1, but would rather have the 3 setup

dont use the mefi 1.........all the mefi stuff is old technology but the 500 was developed on the mefi 3 platform so Id use it.

Mefi 1 thru 3 all are NLA - they are so outdated as they have been gone for 5 years now.... One can not even buy a new MEFI 3 blank. --- Mefi 1 thru 3 do not have O 2 capability nor compatibility. Also MEFI 1 s (1995) thru MEFI 3 ----- DOES NOT have any guardian mode nor can you operate a DIS ignition set up. Also does not have sequential fire as it only has 2 injector drivers. ( batch fire only ) not even semi batch fire.. Also MEFI 3 only has 17 total fault codes and very limited on the scan end.

MEFI 1 only has 7 total fault codes for some added info. .

Some marine tuners / engine builders use MEFI 4 B as blanks and tune from there..

Still looking. Would like the harness before I commit to an ECU.

Spoke to ASM today, they offer a new 4B with the an updated 500 efi cal for a very reasonable price - need to re-pin connectors - definite option.
