Correct Quadrajet for 365 magnum 454

I have a 454 mag mpi long block I'm going to put an intake and carb on . I already have the 454 mag carb intake with the bronze water passages . I'm looking for a Quadrajet that came off a 365 mag. From my research it looks like it should be carb # 17059280. That confuses me a little because when I Google that number listings come up for a 5.7. Anyway , maybe somebody has a Q-jet they know came from a 365 mag . Thanks

I was trying to find a chart that showed what Jets, metering rods , hangers etc each carb had but I can't find one . Maybe I could modify my 330 454 carb to work . I do have a Holley as well , I could do plug readings and jet it accordingly. I figured the 365 mag and 7.4 mag mpi had similar compression , similar heads and similar cam I could just slap a 365 mag carb on there . But I'm open to advice .

What year motor are you trying to duplicate? That carb part number in the Mercruiser manual for a 454 Mag MCM370 shows Primary jet size .069 in, .041 (marked DA) secondary metering rod and hanger "F". There also a note that the hanger listed may not be correct, to install the same hanger as what was removed. Contact Mikes Carbs, they are located in WA, they have everything you need. Good luck.

Thank you for the info . I don't know if this is even a good plan , but the engine im trying to " duplicate " is a 1988-1992 454 MAG Bravo . Looks like the serial numbers of engine would be 0B721206-0D805068. I'll call Mikes Carbs.

I have a pair of carbs from 1988 365 horse 454 Mags. They were both on the original motors and running last season.
