TRS Trim pump
Looking for a TRS trim pump, off a 76 donzi 18. I'm in Aurora IL

The current pump is I think the prestolite style? It has a squareish metal reservoir on the bottom. Can I use a bravo or alpha style pump? Not sure if the lines are compatible? This boat only sees a few hours a year if that. Any direction or advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you

My 77 280 TRS 20 cig had the OILDYNE trim pump with a manual release valve so you could raise or lower the drive if pump failed.
I am pretty sure that the fittings are different on end of hyd hoses between prestolite and oildyne pumps. i would think that a readily available olidyne pump from a newer boat could be adapted |
