For water intake - need a short section, 4-5 inches long. 1-1/4" diameter.

Buy a foot from a marina and cut yourself ?

Well, yeah, that's a solid option. I figured if someone had some scraps laying around they wanted to part with for the cost of postage, it couldn't hurt to ask.

I have some here but I think it would cost as much to ship from KY as you could buy it locally.
Royal Brass and Hose in Orlando has it. I bought my 5' piece from them (in KY) for about $50.
