I haven`d had much luck locally getting these made

They don`t have anything that small.

I use Fragola for most rigging. https://fragolaperformancesystems.com/shop-by-category/ They're up here in New England but ship fast.

Harden Marine has Trim Hose assemblies. #3 inverted flare for Mercury pumps. 3/8-24 tread but you are calling 1/4", maybe an adapter fitting will make all work.

You can order whatever length and fitting ends you need. They have standard 60" assemblies in stock.

Merc sells them, but they are pricey. I had my local shop order the hose that I needed.
