I have a 29' and I have run 102.7 and 101ish on gps(I have two on boat), B-max drive and 751hp, next year I will be running 950hp. I know there's a guy on Long island(boat for sale in OSO like 75,000, that claims 110 w/850hp.

there was at one time ( 2-3 years ago) a 29 with 1400hp, and from what i was told it was pretty quick!

Hey guys-
Question for you who are running big power in the 29s or have been in one. How do those boats handle and 90 and 100+? What years are your boats? Over 100 with 751hp is an awesome number congrats. Anyone know how the 27s compare to the 29s? I know the 27s look a lot taller and bulkier than the 29s.
Thanks
-Tom

29's are more cut down, by about 6 inches or so the 27 was used to set the F1 record a few years ago, the bottoms are very similar, the 29 is 18 inches longer, i would say the 29 would be slightly better for big power due to the lower profile and wind resistance.
